Kristen Darville, DDS - Pediatric Dentist in Nassau, Bahamas

Dr. Darville grew up in Nassau, Bahamas and attended Queen’s College from elementary to high school. As a child she only visited the dentist for emergencies which was very typical and still is to this day for many children. After having a rocky start with her first dentist she eventually ended up with a dental visit that left a lasting positive impression on her. This experience was her motivation to pursue pediatric dentistry.

After completing her dental degree, she went on to pediatric dentistry residency in a hospital based program at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Darville enjoyed teaching so she decided to remain on staff as an Attending, teaching residents and providing patient care.

In 2012, she returned to her Alma Mater as the Chairman/Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Realizing the importance of giving back to her country she returned home later that year in 2013.

Dr. Darville’s goal is to provide quality care in a kid friendly environment to allay your child’s dental fears. She aims to create positive dental habits that will go with your child into adulthood. Like most pediatric dentists she encourages parents to be preventative and not reactive in your child’s dental health.
